JOINT EXHIBITION "INVENTORIZATION"

2026 | Klaipėda | Lithuania
From February 26 to March 29, the artist participated in the group exhibition “Inventorization” at the Klaipėda Cultural Communication Center. The exhibition brought together emerging creators from Klaipėda, proposing an alternative “inventory” of the city’s creative field by resisting traditional curatorial hierarchies and allowing diverse practices to coexist without fixed categorization.

Within this context, the artist presented an installation accompanied by a short performance, focusing on process, routine, and the often invisible emotional labor behind creative work.

The performance explored ritual as a form of self-regulation in contemporary life, where boundaries between private inner experience and public visibility are increasingly blurred. By reenacting a solitary morning routine in the gallery space, temporarily transformed into a domestic environment, the work opened a space between intimacy and exposure. Drawing functioned as a release mechanism—transferring anxiety, distraction, and residual thoughts onto paper in order to restore mental clarity.

The installation extended this idea through a year-long daily drawing practice (5–15 minutes), carried out without premeditation. The work addresses routine as a method, the fear of the blank page, and the silencing of the inner critic, emphasizing imperfection as an integral part of the creative process.

By bringing a private practice into a public setting, the work challenges the boundary between studio and exhibition space, presenting vulnerability as a shared human condition rather than a personal weakness.
